The solutions of Desys helped us to make a great leap forward in the world of Industry 4.0, thanks to 2D and 3D visual documentation and to the Linkersys collaborative web technology: the challenge was to abolish paper in production and to manage the maintenance of our worldwide lines with an innovative CMMS solution.
Brembo SpA, a world leader in the design, development, and production of braking systems for automobiles and motorcycles adopted the Linkersys solution as a visual and collaborative web platform for its production plants. The 3D of the plants has become “intelligent” thanks to our 2D and 3D visual documentation technologies. The documentation in their plants has become completely visual in order to eliminate all cultural and linguistic barriers within Brembo’s factories worldwide: interactive navigation of the plant, management of HTML5 manuals with assistance videos, interactive 3D animations for instructions regarding machine assembly, interactive and 3D for preventive and corrective maintenance, Help Desk, and management of replacement parts, all within the same Linkersys web platform. The platform will soon be connected to IoT systems adopted by Brembo. The initial launch of the collaborative web platform will take place during the inauguration of the new factory in Mexico. In fact, we helped Brembo in its Industry 4.0 projects, adding our Virtual Reality systems, including on visors (Oculus Rift) connected with Linkersys.
